Tyrese Gibsonis not ready to end his marriage.
Not long after the 42-year-old musician and actor released ajoint statementwith his wife, Samantha Gibson, announcing their decisionto splitafter nearly four years of marriage, Tyrese is making it known that he’s not ready for their relationship to end.
“Happy Happy Happy Anniversary!!!!!! Magic Magic and more magic…..,” Tyrese wrote in his comment, before directing it towards his ex. “Dear Samantha this was supposed to be us…. remember the franklins was our marriage GOALS!!!!!!!!!!!! Smiling smiling……. I’m gonna get her back watch me! [ I think ].”
The message from theFast & Furiousstar comes about after he shared news of the couple’s split in an Instagram post in December.
“We have decided to make a statement of a painful and significant development in our lives,” the statement, shared to Tyrese’s Instagram account, began. “After much thought, consideration, and prayer, We unfortunately have made the difficult decision to officially separate & divorce.”

Continuing their joint separation statement, the pair wrote, “Our intention is to remain the best of friends & strong coparents. We feel incredibly blessed to have found each other and deeply grateful for the 4 years we have been married to each other.”
“Our journey together has been a ride of both ups & downs, but it’s a journey that neither of us would have chosen to take with anyone else,” the pair added. “We truly have so much love & respect for each other.”

The pair even appeared to be on good terms last month when Samantha sent Tyrese birthday wishes alongside a video of him with the pair’s daughter,Soraya.
“Happy Birthdayyyy @tyrese ! Thank you for going half on this angel with me, she is HANDS DOWN the best gift I’ve ever been given,” Samantha began the caption of herpost. “You saw a mother in me when I truly didn’t see it for myself- a true visionary.”
