It’s a Halloween showdown!

BothToday‘sSavannah GuthrieandGood Morning America‘sGinger ZeechanneledOlivia Newton-Johnfor their Halloween costume on Thursday morning.

TheTodayshow celebrated the spooky holiday withdance-themed costumes. Guthrie enlisted her co-hostCarson Dalyfor aGrease-inspired couple’s costume.

Donning a blonde wig and black-leggings, Guthrie epically channeled Newton-John’s iconicGreasecharacter Sandy for the morning show, while Daly dressed as her summer lover, Danny.

And Guthrie even got the nod of approval from Newton-John herself.

The TODAY gang goes all out for its Halloween 2019 theme, Everybody Dance TODAY, dressing up as the most famous dancers from TV and movies. See Craig Melvin and Al Roker as the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Carlton; and Peter Alexander as Kevin Bacon in “Footloose”; Dylan Dreyer mimicking Elaine’s memorably awkward moves from “Seinfeld”; Willie Geist and Jenna Bush Hager doing some “Dirty Dancing”; Sheinelle Jones as Janet Jackson in her “Rhythm Nation” phase; Hoda Kotb as Danny in “Saturday Night Live,” and Savannah Guthrie and Carson Daly as Sandy and Denny from “Grease”!

“I heard a rumor that you’re going to dress up as me for Halloween,” the actress said in a video message. “Act saucy!”

As for Zee, she revealed her costume onGood Morning Americato help celebrate theStudio 54 theme. TheGMAstudio was transformed into a sparkling ’70s dance floor, inside their “Studio 44” nightclub.

Zee rolled in on skates dressed as Newton-John’s character Kira inXanadu.She wore a pink and white dress with knee-high socks to help complete her look. Once again, Newton-John filmed a special message of support.

And this isn’t the first time fans have seen similar costumes across the morning shows. Last year,GMAandTodayinadvertentlyboth channeled the 1980s, resulting in an epic battle of the morning shows, Halloween edition.
