In the castle ballroom after the reception, Hooters waitresses served the chain restaurant’s signature wings in their iconic outfits, which had been altered to include a “J & B” logo in honor of the couple.

The first cake was a three-tier half-naked cake decorated with blue chocolate drizzle, the second had two tiers and was decorated with an edible gold leaf, and the third was decorated with blue fondant and decorated with the couples’ hand-painted gold monogram.

“We’re stronger and happier than we’ve ever been. We’vebeen through a lot, but we came out on the other side. I feel like we’ve just gotten stronger and stronger,” Cartwright told PEOPLE exclusively just before the big day.

Next, the newlyweds will return to their new home in Los Angeles, taking some time to settle in and soak up summer before planning a honeymoon, probably in Jamaica or Bora Bora.

As for kids? “We cannot wait to start a family,” Cartwright says. “I cannot wait to be a mom and Jax cannot wait to be a dad. He talks about it all the time. I think he’s getting more excited than I am even, which I never thought would be possible.”
