In the early stages ofChristine Brown’s relationship with hernow-husbandDavid Woolley, one family member’s opinion mattered more than anyone else’s.
Truely— theSister Wivesstar’s youngest child with exKody Brown— was “a little bit anxious” before she and her mom moved in with Woolley, Christine tells PEOPLE. But that anxiety eased soon enough because the 13-year-old and Woolley, 59, “get along great.”
“He gets along fantastic with Truely,” shares themother of six, 51. “And I think that was the final clinch for me. He came over one time and he started talking with Truely, and he just sat down with her andgother. He understood her.”
Christine also affirms that Truely “likes [David] a lot. Yeah, she does. She really likes him.”

Seeing Woolley be so “in tune with” Truely cemented Christine’s love for him — and made her secure in her decision tomarryhim.
And that’s just one of the businessman’s many great qualities, she notes of Woolley, who “has more integrity than anybody I know." She explains, “He built his business while he was being a single dad, so it’s everything to him.”
“He’s a phenomenal person, to the core. He’s just outstanding,” she gushes. “Yeah, I just feel like I won a gold mine — major.I won the lottery with him.”

The pair struck up a connection earlier this year, which Christine shared onInstagramon Valentine’s Day as she called him her “soulmate.”
“I finally found the love of my life, David,” she wrote in the caption. “The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul took its first breath. He’s wonderful and kind, incredible with my children and an adorable grandpa. I never dreamed I could find a love like this.”
Her second shot at love came more than a year after she announced hersplit from Kody, 54, to whom she had been spiritually married for 25 years. They also share daughtersAspyn, 28,Mykelti, 27,Gwyendlyn, 21, andYsabel, 20, as well as sonPaedon, 25.

Christine tells PEOPLE her relationship with Woolley is distinctly less complicated than her previous relationship — and she loves that.
“It’s really simple," she shares. “It’s a simple, simple life. And I didn’t know I could have a simple life with somebody.”
She adds, “I didn’t know I would find a soul mate. I totally found a soul mate. He’s totally my soul mate, and I didn’t even know.”
