Turner-Smithfiled for divorcefrom the actor on Sunday after more than four years of marriage. TheQueen & Slimactress cited “irreconcilable differences” as the legal grounds for their divorce.
TheSex Educationstar also asked that neither parties receive spousal support and Jackson pay her attorney fees. While the “exact nature and extent” of the duo’s separate and community properties are unknown to the actress at this time, she requested the court allow her to “amend” her filing as those details become determined.

Ahead of Turner-Smith’s Oct. 1 filing, the couple were seen together on multiple occasions throughout September. Jackson celebrated the British model’s37th birthdayon Sept. 9 in New York City.
However, the actress’birthday Instagram postincluded a carousel of party attendees, with Jackson noticeably absent from the photos.
“As i embark on another new year, i can’t help but meditate on love and it’s many manifestations,” she captioned the post. “love is not some lofty unattainable thing. love is a gesture, a look, an intention. love is community. love is showing up.”
The post concluded with the actress thanking those near and far, writing, “thank you to all of you who showed up for me this week in new york— in spirit and in the flesh. i don’t take any of this for granted, and most of all, i don’t take any of you for granted.”
The pair were alsospotted at New York Fashion Weekand helpedlaunch the Lotus Emeya electric vehicleon Sept. 6.

A year later in August 2019, Jackson and Turner-Smith sparked rumors of an imminent wedding when theyappeared to pick up a marriage licensein Beverly Hills, California.PEOPLE later confirmedthat the pair tied the knot in December 2019.
“When I first met my husband, we had a one-night stand,” Turner-Smith told Seth Meyers in 2021. “We’re in a two, three-year one-night stand now.”
This was the first marriage for both actors.
