Jennifer Anistoncouldn’t be happier to giveBarbra Streisandher Life Achievement Award at the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Speaking with PEOPLE on the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Saturday, the actress, 55, said Streisand “was in my house since I could remember, I just heard that voice… there’s nothing like her.”
“There’s no one that compares to her and she paved the way for a lot of us women, all of us, actually," Aniston added.
At the ceremony, Streisand, 81, will accept the SAG Life Achievement Award, given to actors who display the “finest ideals of the acting profession.”
SAG-AFTRAfirst announcedthat Streisand would be the 59th recipient of its Life Achievement Award in a December press release, describing theEGOT honoreeas “one of the greatest entertainers of all time.”

“Ever since I was a young girl sitting in the Loew’s Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, I dreamed of being one of those actresses I saw on the screen,” Streisand said in a statement at the time. “The movies were a portal to a world I could only imagine. Even though I was an unlikely candidate, somehow my dream came true.”
“This award is especially meaningful to me because it comes from my fellow actors, whom I so admire,” she added.
