I mean , just face at it ! This wonderful diversion of one of the Tokusatsu genre ’s all right heroes by Flickr UserMokois so well done , it look almost like an action mechanism figure rather than a piece of lego twist .
Moko ’s take on Kamen Rider is not only impressive for its poseability though – although that in itself is fairly singular – but how placid and sleek it looks as well . Using a technique known to Lego builders as ‘ SNOT ’ ( no , not the muck in your nose , but an acronym for ‘ Studs Not On Top ’ ) , Moko ’s body-build eschews the blockish aesthetic that we ’re usually familiar with when we think of Lego for something that count completely dissimilar . It ’s still recognisably lego - y , but it looks like it ’s a Kamen Rider natural action figure rather than a Lego model .
It ’s also interesting to see how Moko ’s takes on Kamen Rider in Lego form have progressed over the twelvemonth – here ’s three of their former attempts at create the masked hero in different Lego ordered series dating from as far back as 2006 :

They ’re all fairly snazzy ( I ’m particularly fond of the adorable minifigure Kamen Rider on the far right ) but I think the latest attempt is by far the best .
