Together with Panasonic , Toshiba , NEC , and SiBEAM they ’re working on a new spec called WirelessHD ( or WiHD ) that let you beam uncompressed HD content from say your cable box to your high-definition television . It ’ll use the 60GHz frequency and wield video as well as audio . The technology will appear in constituent , HDTVs , secret plan consoles , and even portable gadgets like HD camcorder by outflow 2008 . For those of us who ’ve already splurged on big budgetHDTVsandcomponents , the WirelessHD kinfolk will make wireless adapters that ’ll let your equipment go wireless . So long as it ’s not outrageously priced , we say work it on !
