In a whimsical newvideoon the company’s Instagram page, the iconic toy brand highlighted five married couples who shared how they incorporated theirlove for LEGOinto their weddings.
“It’s happily ever after, LEGO style! Get tangled up in these heartwarming love stories, as couples share LEGO inspiration that built the foundations of their love,” the brand explained in its caption.
The video first introduced Troy and Darcy, who have been married for almost a year and a half. The two laughed and declared, “We’re a couple of goofballs.”
“We haven’t grown up. We decided not to grow up,” Darcy added, before her husband explained a very special LEGO creation that was a centerpiece of their ceremony.
“This is how my mom talks, ‘What if you made a LEGO ring box?’ And I was like, ‘That’s actually a really good idea,” Troy recalled, as the couple’s ornately detailed ring box was showed off.
The rectangular-shaped box was decorated with heart, leaf and feather motives, and opened to reveal his-and-hers wedding bands nestled in slots just like in a real ring box.

A second couple, Line and Yannick — who have been married for two years — went all in on the LEGO theme at their wedding, using the colorful bricks for everything from flowers to photo backdrops.
“It was in two parts. So my bouquet was LEGO,” Line explained, alongside a photo of her stunning multicolored bouquet featuring several different varieties of blooms — all made from LEGO pieces — with their stems wrapped in purple ribbon.

“Everything else we could get was LEGO, and it was really magical,” Line added — and she wasn’t kidding.
When they said their “I dos,” Yannick wore a colorful shirt and tie with LEGO-inspired prints, and LEGO-branded scenes served as backdrops at their reception.
“We also had a selfie camera [station] where the background was 7,500 Duplo bricks,” Yannick noted, as the video showed off guests taking photos with props such as quirky mustaches and eyeglasses made from LEGOs.

The couple’s wedding rings also have a nod to the popular building toy. Inside, they’re etched with the phrase, “Clutch Power Since,” a reference to the bricks' ability to snap nicely together.
Another couple, Kory and Peder, who tied the knot three years ago, featured delightful LEGO touches throughout their wedding. The grooms wore colorful brick boutonnieres on their lapels and used cords made from LEGO pieces for their handfasting ceremony.

“The LEGO stuff was his idea,” Kory said of Peder. “And I thought that was the coolest thing in the world since I’m more the LEGO fan between us.”
“We just got really wonderful images out of it,” Kory added, referring to the bright pops of color and whimsicality the LEGO creations provided.

“I’d been planning to propose for a few months. In my apartment, I built what I thought the proposal scene was going to look like out of LEGO. And I thought the bridge would be a fun thing to build,” Joe recalled.
Paul and Trent, who have been married for 10 years, had the fun idea to give their guests LEGO-themed favors. “So rather than having almonds in a bag, everyone got a LEGO figure — two men with little champagne glasses and little flowers,” they explained of the figurines, which depict the pair in dapper black top hats and tuxedos.
LEGO was also part of the entertainment. “We all built LEGO together [at the wedding]. It was just beautiful,” they added.

LEGO’s charming video ended with Troy and Darcy sitting at a table, doing what they love best: buildinga new LEGO settogether. “True love is someone that you can build a LEGO set with and you can find every piece straight away,” Darcy reflected.
Line said she found that person in Yannick, as she shared a little advice for people out there still looking for their own match. “You will find the perfect person. He’s not perfect, but he’s perfect for me,” she said of her husband.
“We can now say that these couples are like complete LEGO sets…because they have all found their missing pieces,” one person wrote.
Another commenter jokingly suggested, “Needs to be a LEGO dating site.”
