Some , like Six , want to survey “ the one true god ” and retrieve their mystical destiny ; others , like Brother Cavil , choose the pragmatical freethinking of war . Spoilery recappage ahead .
Before we jump into the cool Cylon stuff , let ’s tick in with the humankind .
A lot of the human characters become their own foils in this episode , call “ Six of One . ” Adama find himself believing that Starbuck ’s return is a miracle , and that she may indeed defend the key to finding Earth as she claims . In the long term what it means is that Six stages a coup . She removes the intelligence suppressors in the Centurion ’s brains , and tells them about how they and their Raider brothers are being suppress . Then she walks into the Council chamber to face Cavil . At first Cavil is cavalier , shout out at Six that her beliefs really “ grate his Eastern Samoa . ” I love a Cylon whose ass gets rankled , by the agency . That ’s when she convey in the fully grown guns — a bunch of Centurions — and tells Cavil about how pissed his toaster brothers are . It ’s class war among the Cylons ! Needless to say , the Centurions screw up away the Cavils , Simons , and routine Fives who are hanging out in the merging elbow room .
A big doubt for next episode is what exactly this coup means . Ca n’t Cavil and Co. just get born-again ? Why would it even make any dispute if the centurion killed them ? I ’m also look forward to finding out what a overbold Centurion and fully - intelligent Raider might have to say . Will more models start factionalizing like Sharon did ? These are exactly the kinds of interesting , meaty developments that are lay BSG back on rails this season . We ’re also get down answer about how the Cylons go their order , and concrete shift in our long - stable characters .
