Some of your friends probably make whoopie in the fact they ca n’t do math . In fact , it ’s weird how some the great unwashed can be so proud about lacking a skill that ’s unbelievably utile . Would they brag about not being capable to cook ? Or work guitar ? Or pen a wonderful sentence ?
No . Of course they would n’t . Being proud of not being able-bodied to do math is mean opposite snobbery which makes no sense . So what if it ’s hard and takes years to lord : mathematics is the terminology of science , and I , for one , am beaming I ’m fluent . There , I said it . [ xkcd ]
