What about travel beyond our solar system ? Even the nearest ace are so far away that no present engineering could reach them . The first voyagers to the stars will be creatures whose life cps is couple to the voyage : the aeon involved in traversing the galaxy are not daunting to immortal beings . In this hugely expanded cosmic linear perspective , the laws of Einstein and the quantum could be simple insular bylaws govern our cosmic patch . blank space and meter may have a structure as intricate as the zoology of a ample ecosystem , but on a scale far larger than the celestial horizon of our observations .
