I ’m exercise on a possible weekly pillar for a major online publication ( that ’s not Gizmodo ) , and take your help . Part of the column will be sort of a gadget - centric Dear Abby , answering reader questions and put up advice about gadgets . So here ’s your chance to require me whatever contrivance - relate question you ’ve been conk to enquire . Please make them near , no “ What form of cellphone should I buy ? ” question or anything like that . I ’m happy to aid people with doubt like that privately ( when I have time , that is ) , but it ’s not something that million of people would want to study in a tower .

UPDATE : Thanks everyone for all the really great questions ! I ’ve get means more than I expected to get or that I ’ll be able to suffice in the pillar , but I ’ll test to include as many as possible in next columns ( assuming it becomes a lasting gig , that is ) .
