Apple buy the domain name iPhone.org in 1999 — almost a full X before it actually announce its first headphone . And in the years in between , the rumors flew : A merging of force , including a microphone boom in consumer technology save on the net and the ubiquity of Photoshop , conspired to make a fecund surround for conjecture by armchair critics and interior decorator .
